Philosophy and Practice
Your body is a system that is ever responding to the influences in our lives: work, family, social engagements and the general chaos associated with each. My goal is to help you create and maintain a foundation for inner strength - where all beauty resides - by treating your body with mindful attention. I follow the traditional teachings in each practice.
Essential Oils are central to my practices of Reiki, Lomilomi and Raindrop Technique. As the lifeblood of plants, essential oils combine with these body work disciplines to bring natural healing energy and a path to long-term wellness. There's so much information about essential oils and their viability for healing on the levels of mental, spiritual, physical and emotional, that I have a continuing quest to learn and share this information with others.
Background and Experience
I grew up traveling with an Air Force family and moved to Hawaii many years ago. As many others have experienced, I knew immediately that this would be my home. So much natural beauty and positive energy surrounds us all in this lovely place and it is where I feel I do my best work.
My Reiki practice keeps in the tradition of founder Mikao Usui. I have already received initiation of first and second degree Reiki under the teaching of Master Maureen O'Shaughnessy.
For my Lomilomi practice I follow the ancient Hawaiian teachings as taught to me by my Kumu Lomilomi Sheila O'Malley, in the tradition of Aunty Margaret Machado.
In all of my work , and in my personal life, I use Young Living Essential Oils. I have been trained by Young Living and have served as a facilitator in their training sessions as well.
